RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• To date, Nassie Law has obtained early pre-trial dismissals of all lender liability cases defended on behalf of a financial institution client without the lender paying one cent in settlement to the plaintiff/borrowers.
• In September 2009, Nassie Law prevailed on behalf of its clients on an appeal before the California’s Fourth Appellate District, successfully defeating the appellants’ claim that they were entitled to recover any portion of their attorneys’ fees sought in connection with an unfair competition law action.
• In June 2009, Nassie Law obtained a unanimous defense verdict in the Orange County Superior Court in a business dispute arising out of the purchase and sale of stock in a mortgage banking company.
• In June 2009, Nassie Law negotiated a settlement in a business and real estate litigation case in which the client was sued for $320,000.00 without the client paying any money to the plaintiff.
• In May 2009, Nassie Law successfully defended on behalf of its client, a business woman and entrepreneur, an application for a writ of attachment in a complicated and hotly contested business and real estate case in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
• In May 2009, Nassie Law successfully defeated a plaintiff/borrower’s motion for a preliminary injunction to stop a foreclosure sale in a lender liability case filed in the Orange County Superior Court involving state and federal claims arising out of a HELOC.
